About

The microBIOme Agro Living lab drives research and industry partners commitment to embed agroecology within local and regional socio-ecological realities through knowledge, engagement, collaboration and innovation. This cutting edge initiative, by bringing different stakeholders groups, causes that living lab can research and test sustainable solutions, enhance knowledge and tackle local and global challenges using our research infrastructure, knowledge and know-how. Living lab on microBIOmes is an example of interdisciplinary node for creation of amazing new ideas, delivering innovative solutions and research with impact on sustainable development of agroecology.

Our Living Lab is open to any ideas for development of organic agriculture. Based on our already gathered expertise we can offer in our portfolio different groups of solutions for organic agriculture, soil quality and health, especially in fruits production, including methods and bio-based products. Our main goal is research effort to increase understanding of microbiomes to advance and support the development and adaptation of agroecological practices.

Our Living Lab is open to all actors interested in ensuring organic agriculture and facing the problem of climate change, especially using the microbiomes-based approach. We facilitate your interdisciplinary projects on any elements of the soil-plant-climate system and across all Life Sciences branches were the soil and plant microbiomes are expected as the key players. We offer you support to set up and deliver projects, as well as helping to identify and engage partners.

Our core expertise bases on vast knowledge and know-how, thus you may use our research infrastructure for microbiomes-based solutions for organic farming, for comprehensive soil characterization, monitoring greenhouse gases emission, carbon sequestration fingerprinting, plant physiology and biophysics, waste and by-side management or new bio-based products. However we are open and ready to use our research infrastructure and our knowledge to tackle new tasks defined by you.
